A fatal accident was reported on Thursday night at the Ileewe area of Ogbomoso near Bovas Filling Station.
According to eyewitness accounts, a newly branded white car, suspected to belong to a suspected internet fraudster popularly known as a “Yahoo boy,” was involved in the crash after allegedly speeding.
The vehicle reportedly lost control and was severely damaged in the accident.
As of the time of filing this report, the number of casualties had not yet been confirmed.The incident reportedly occurred shortly after 8:00 p.m., while residents and road users gathered at the scene as authorities were urged to respond.
