A 20-year-old woman, identified as Favour Agbro from Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, has reportedly died following an alleged sexual assault involving a content creator known online as Odogwu Asaaba.
According to reports circulating on social media, Favour had reached out to the content creator, who reportedly presented himself as a content coach on TikTok and Facebook, seeking private coaching. It was alleged that instead of conducting the training virtually, he invited her to Asaba for a one-on-one session.Screenshots of chats purportedly recovered from her phone reportedly show that Favour informed him before the meeting that she was a virgin and did not want any inappropriate advances.
Reports claim she travelled to Asaba, where the coaching allegedly took place at a hotel. Following the encounter, she was said to have been deeply traumatized.
It was further alleged that she later sought help from an activist but became discouraged after allegedly being told that little could be done regarding her case.
According to the reports, Favour later died by suicide after allegedly recounting her experience.
