A suspected internet fraudster, popularly known as a Yahoo boy, has been caught allegedly having sexual intercourse with a mentally unstable woman inside a bush in Delta State, Eclat Media Reports.
According to eyewitnesses, the shocking incident occurred in the early hours of Friday when passersby noticed suspicious movements in the area. On closer inspection, they discovered the young man engaging in the act with the mentally challenged woman.
The man was immediately apprehended by residents and reportedly beaten before being handed over to local vigilantes. Sources claim the act might be connected to ritual activities, as several similar incidents have been reported in the region. The woman, who appeared disoriented and unable to speak clearly, was later rescued and taken for medical attention.
Community leaders have condemned the incident, calling on security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure that justice is served to deter future occurrences.
