The Management of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has officially released the harmonised tuition and other charges for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This update affects both new and returning students across all faculties.
FACULTIES COVERED
The new fee structure applies to every student in the following faculties:
Faculty of Clinical & Basic Medical Sciences (Medicine, Nursing, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, MLS, Radiography, Public Health, Environmental Health, etc.)
Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology
(Biochemistry, Microbiology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering courses, Architecture, etc.)
Faculty of Law
(LL.B. Law, LL.B. Common & Islamic Law, Criminology, Peace & Conflict Studies)
Faculty of Management & Social Sciences

The above are standard tuition fees and exclude optional charges such as acceptance, medicals, and verification fees.
REASONS FOR THE INCREASE
According to the management, the review was not to discourage students but to meet current economic realities and sustain UNIOSUN’s academic standards.
The university has faced rising costs in:
Laboratory and medical consumables
Electricity and water supply
Facility maintenance
Staff welfare and research development
As a result, the management reviewed tuition across all faculties to maintain quality education and stable operations.
OPTIONAL CHARGES (FOR NEW STUDENTS ONLY)

2.Medical Fee | 30,000 | Payable before screening/registration
3.Parents Management Forum | 5,000 | Annual charge
4.Result Verification | 55,000 | One-time charge
5.Student Union Dues | 2,000 | Annual charge
6.Convocation | Payable in final year | Final year only
7.Change of Course / Late Registration | Varies Only if applicable
Students under NELFUND (loan scheme) are exempted from some of these optional charges.
PAYMENT MODE
To reduce financial pressure, UNIOSUN allows payment in two instalments:First instalment (50%) – before First Semester exams
Second instalment (50%) – before Second Semester examsFailure to pay the first instalment before exams will restrict access to school facilities and exam entry.
