The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has again postponed its 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony, marking the second time the event has been shifted this academic session. The ceremony, originally fixed for an earlier date before being moved to Thursday, November 27, 2025, has now been postponed once more due to what the institution described as “unforeseen circumstances.”
The latest postponement was announced in an official memo issued on November 26, 2025, and signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Olayinka O. Balogun. The university informed newly admitted students, parents, guardians, and the broader LAUTECH community that a new date will be communicated via official channels, including the institution’s website and social media platforms.
This second postponement has raised concerns among fresh students who were preparing for the ceremony. Despite this, the memo emphasized that the university deeply regrets the inconvenience caused and appreciates the cooperation and understanding of all stakeholders.
LAUTECH assured its new students popularly known as Fresh Ladokites that the institution remains committed to delivering a well-organized and meaningful matriculation ceremony once the new date is finalized.
