Tragedy: LAUTECH 400-Level Student Passed Away.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Ajayi Gideon Oluwasegun, a 400-level student in the Department of Cyber security at LAUTECH.

He was involved in an accident yesterday at the Under G area of LAUTECH, which led to brain damage.

He was quickly rushed Lautech teaching hospital where he was later transferred to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, where a sum of 1.5 million Naira was required for his treatment.

Friends and family came together to raise funds for his care, but it is with great sadness that we report he passed away this evening.

May his soul rest in peace, and may God grant his parents the strength to cope with this devastating loss.
