The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has officially released the screening cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic session admission exercise, marking a crucial stage in the university’s admission process.
In a statement issued by the university management, the screening cut-off marks are categorized into two distinct groups: Merit Cut-Off Marks and Catchment Cut-Off Marks.
This initiative aims to promote fairness, equity, and inclusiveness in line with the university’s admission policy.

Merit Cut-Off Marks
The merit cut-off marks apply to candidates from all states of the federation except Oyo State.
These marks reflect the highly competitive nature of various courses and are determined by the performance of applicants in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and other screening criteria.
Catchment Cut-Off Marks.
In line with the university’s commitment to its host community, the catchment cut-off marks are exclusively reserved for candidates who are indigenes of Oyo State. This affirmative action supports qualified local candidates in securing placement into LAUTECH’s various programs while still maintaining academic standards.
Candidates are advised to check both the merit and catchment cut-off marks for their chosen course of study to determine their eligibility for admission.
For further details and clarifications, candidates are encouraged to contact the university’s admission office or monitor updates through all our platforms.
